What is Coolsculpting?

Coolsculpting is a new fat removal system that works by freezing cells that effectively destroys them and makes it possible for the body to eliminate them naturally from the body. According to research by Harvard University, it provides safe, efficient and permanent results. The Coolsculpting system targets fat cells in specific areas of the body like the abdomen, lower back, thighs, and flanks. The procedure is non-invasive and targets only certain areas of the body during each treatment. There are very few side effects and the results of the procedure are permanent. Once the fat cells are gone, they do not return or appear in other places on the body.

Coolsculpting offers the most benefits when it is used to target smaller, unwanted pockets of fat. It is not a weight loss tool and should not be relied on to lose weight. The goal of a coolsculpting procedure is to remove fat from hard to reach areas of the body. Hard to reach areas include those that collect fat, but don't respond well to exercise. Coolsculpting offers the most benefits to individuals who have already lost the weight they want, but still have some bulges or fat pockets that need to be dealt with. How Long Do the Results of a Coolsculpting Treatment Last?

The results of a CoolSculpting treatment are permanent. Once the fat cells have been frozen, they begin to shrink and will eventually break down to the point where the body will naturally start to reabsorb them. The initial results will begin to appear within the firs three or four weeks. The final results will be apparent around the end of the third month. Once the fat cells have been broken down, they won't return. After the procedure and the final results become apparent, the skin becomes smoother, firmer and more youthful looking. There will be more tone and muscle definition. These results are long lasting and will not fade if the person exercises and maintains an ideal weight.
